Today we hosted our first ever Student Ambassador Training event where we welcomed 31 pupils from 7 secondary schools accross the Vale of Glamorgan. The event was formally opened by Councillor Rowlands, the current Mayor as well as the  Youth Champion for the Vale of Glamorgan.

Pupils today were able to learn more about their role as a Student Ambassador for their schools as well as learning about the UNCRC and Children’s Rights.

Pupils were shown videos, they took part in workshops as well as completing Sally Holland’s Beth Nawr? / What Now Survey? – You can complete the survey by clicking here.

Whilst the Children’s Commissioner for Wales was unable to make the event, she did send a video message.

We look forward to hearing from the Vale Student Ambassadors how they promote children’s rights and promote the work that Sally Holland is doing!
