The Vale Rights Ambassadors have continued to work hard this term raising awareness of the UNCRC – The United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child.

Members worked hard during January and February to complete their accredited training, giving them the knowledge to be able to discuss the purpose of children’s rights and how they affect children and young people in Wales.

During February half term members took part in team building activities at Taff Valley as part of the Winter of Wellbeing scheme. Members took part in quad biking, archery, axe throwing and an assault course!

March has been spent planning UNCRC workshops ready to deliver in primary schools. Members had the opportunity to plan out what activities they wanted to deliver in up and coming primary school workshops. Deciding who would deliver what activity.
