Peer Mentoring Awards Ceremony 28.06.19

Over the course of the past academic year, Sixth Form students have had the chance to work with younger students in the school to overcome different challenges. The peer mentoring scheme gives students the opportunity to meet with their mentor on a weekly basis during registration period. This provides younger students with the opportunity to receive support and encouragement to achieve their potential from their older peers.
To reward the Year 12 Peer Mentors for their hard work and dedication, a buffet and awards ceremony was held during KS4 lunch on Friday 28th June. Awards were handed out by the peer mentor leaders, Darcy Peel and Leah Godfrey. Thank you to Kantz Misra from The Elevate Project who trained the peer mentors with core coaching and mentoring skills and kindly organised the awards event.
