Did you know that the Council are trying to increase the number of employees aged 16-24?

Last week we had the opportunity to meet the Cabinet of the Vale of Glamorgan Council and tell them about the work of the Vale Youth Cabinet including main project this term.

After many discussions about improving the variety of work experience opportunities for young people locally, we have met with officers in the Council and Careers Wales to develop the first ever Council Careers Fair. We are hoping the event will raise awareness of the variety of career opportunities within the Council including apprenticeships.

The event will take place on Friday 5th April, 12-3pm at the Civic Offices, Holton Road, Barry, CF63 4RU.
