St Cyres School hosted the Joint School Council meeting with feeder primary Schools to discuss the transition process, joint work on the revolve project and joint planning for the New Curriculum for Wales. A productive and enjoyable session!

Student Ambassadors visit to the Senedd

St Cyres School Student Ambassadors attended a visit to the Senedd on 11th February 2020 to learn more about devolved powers and issues. They took part in a debate considering the age to vote and observed plenaries in the main chambers. An informative experience!

Student Ambassadors work to tackle child poverty

Student Ambassadors at St Cyres school have been preparing their assemblies, posters and short videos to raise awareness of child poverty and how parents and carers can donate school uniform for our free-cycle pop up uniform shop. The project includes in-house work and outreach work engaging the local community.

Children and Young people’s Conference 2019

St Cyres pupils attended the Children and Young People’s Conference in Cardiff as part of National Safeguarding Week.
