Pencoedtre School Parliament have been setting a good example to other pupils and contributing to their school community by doing a litter pick around the school site. They have been learning about article 24 of the UNCRC Children’s rights – the right to a clean environment.
Year 7 Pencoedtre High pupils enjoyed watching a lively drama production called ‘Smashed’ in PSE today, about the issues of underage drinking. It was very thought provoking.
Pupils at Pencoedtre High school have set up a recycled school uniform shop. They are recycling lost property and selling uniform very cheap at a parent events in the school. This will feed into the Children’s Commissioner for Wales mission the Revolve Project. More information can be found here.
